Why Do I Need A Realtor®?
Over the last few years, being a home buyer has been tough. I’m not going to sugarcoat it. With only a few days to decide (if you are lucky) and competing against multiple offers, the whole process can feel like a race and it’s easy to get wrapped up in it all and completely overwhelmed.
Buyer’s remorse is real, and ok when it’s a pair of jeans you bought off the sale rack but not when making one of the largest financial decisions of your lifetime. This is where the counsel of a good Realtor®, who has a fiduciary duty to their client, comes in.
The fiduciary duties of a real estate agent are:
Loyalty
Obedience
Confidentiality
Disclosure
Accounting
Reasonable Care
What Does A Real Estate Agent Do?
Our role, as your Realtor®, is to help guide you through the home-buying process so that you can make informed decisions at every turn. Getting started, we will review how the home buying process works, where the decision points will be, and what’s currently happening in the market. You’ll have a road map for the process and it’s adapted to work on your timeline, not ours.
While our goal, and experience, is to get our buyers into contract within one or two offers, we know that the home buying process starts long before it’s time to make an offer and we are a resource for you from the beginning.
Do you have the desire to buy a home? Then let’s talk and strategize how to make that a reality based on your situation. Owning a home can be a great way to build financial health and stability for your family. It is also one piece of your overall investment portfolio. We are here to guide you every step of the way in achieving your homeownership goals. Let’s chat!
